About Arka JAIN University

ARKA JAIN University (AJU) is one of the leading private universities in Eastern India and the first private university in the Kolhan region, which includes the districts of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan.

Established in 2017 under “The ARKA JAIN University Act” passed by the Jharkhand State Legislature, AJU is duly recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University is promoted and managed by the ARKA Educational & Cultural Trust, registered under the Government of Karnataka.

Though AJU became a university in 2017, its journey in higher education began earlier through JAIN College (established in 2011), giving it a strong legacy of over 14 years in providing quality education.

Today, AJU offers 40+ programs across diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels through its 7 schools of study. The University has a vibrant community of 6,000+ students, guided by 190+ experienced faculty members. It also has a dedicated Research & Development Cell, fostering innovation and inquiry.

The University holds approvals, recognitions, and memberships from bodies such as AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU, and ASCO India assuring academic credibility and professional value to its programs.
