In today’s rapidly changing global environment, challenges and opportunities go hand in hand. At ARKA JAIN University (AJU), we are committed to equipping our students with the right foundation, knowledge, and values to succeed in this dynamic world.

Established in 2017 under The ARKA JAIN University Act and recognized by the UGC, AJU has the distinction of being the first private university in the Kolhan region of Jharkhand (covering East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan). We are proud to be the first NAAC ‘A’ accredited private university in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, a recognition of our quality standards and commitment to excellence.

AJU is part of the prestigious JAIN Group, Bengaluru, which nurtures over 77 institutions across India and is mentored by JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, a NAAC A++ and NIRF Top-100 ranked institution. Our programs are supported by approvals and affiliations from statutory and professional bodies such as AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU, and ASCO India. We are also an ISO 21001:2018-certified University.

Our placement efforts have been equally rewarding, 500+ recruiters have offered over 2,000 job opportunities, with an average package of ₹3.2 LPA and the highest package reaching ₹23 LPA. About the Vice-Chancellor

Dr. Easwaran Iyer is a distinguished academic and professional leader with an extensive background spanning 48 years, including 29 years in industry and 19 years in academia. He holds two doctoral degrees in Management (India and USA), along with an M.Phil, MBA, PGDBM, M.Com, LLB, and B.Com (Hons).

Dr. Iyer has co-authored 32 journal papers and 8 indexed research publications. He has played key roles in NAAC assessments, initially as a member, later as coordinator, and now as Chairperson, and is an Assessor in the revised NAAC framework. His contributions to education have been recognized with the Best Teacher Award from Rotary for three consecutive years in Bengaluru and Guwahati.

He is an active member of professional bodies such as the All India Management Association (AIMA), the India Economic Association, and the National Human Resource Development Network (NHRD). Prior to his role at AJU, he served as Pro-Vice Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, and held leadership roles in the Chancellor’s and President’s Advisory Boards of the JAIN Group of Institutions.

With his vast experience, academic achievements, and commitment to excellence, Dr. Iyer continues to guide ARKA JAIN University towards becoming a hub of innovation, learning, and holistic education.
